Changing Text Sizes

Text sizes of this site can be adjusted through the settings on your web browser. To find out which version of web browser you are currently using simply:

  • Open your browser
  • select Help from the top menu of your browser
  • select About (followed by your browser name) from the drop down list.

The screen that comes up will display which browser and version you are using.

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.0 6.0 and 7.0

Menu toolbar: View > Text Size > Then select the size you want

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.2 (Macintosh)

Menu toolbar: View > Text Zoom > Choose a size from the options 50% - 300% or Larger or Smaller

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0

Menu toolbar: View > Internet Options > Choose fonts and change the size to Small or Large

 

Firefox

Menu toolbar: View > Text size > Increase or Decrease

Windows keyboard shortcut: Control + (bigger)
Control - (smaller)

Macintosh keyboard shortcut: Command ++ (bigger)
Command -- (smaller)

 

Netscape version 6.0 and 4.0

Menu toolbar: Edit > Preferences (a new window will open) > Appearance (from the left hand side menu within the new window) > Fonts > Reset size
(for example, 10, 12, 14 and so on)

Windows keyboard shortcut: Control + (bigger)
Control - (smaller)

Macintosh keyboard shortcut: Command ++ (bigger)
Command -- (smaller)

 

Opera

Menu toolbar: View > Zoom > Then select the size you want

Windows keyboard shortcut: + (bigger)
- (to make smaller)

Macintosh keyboard shortcut: Command + (bigger)
Command - (smaller)

 

Safari

Menu toolbar: View > Make text bigger (or smaller)

Macintosh keyboard shortcut: Command + (bigger)
Command - (smaller)
